The chosen mission for this session is:


DESTROY THE NECROMANCER'S OUTPOST.


The necromancers of Gorehowl have an outpost south of the dwarven commune of Irinel. At this outpost a select number of ranking necromancers are training up new acolytes into the ranks of The Red Hand, a dangerous and brutal wing of Gorehowl recruits.


They have already decimated a small village and taken over a ruined lighthouse, fortifying the swampy peninsula into a well guarded outpost.


Left to their own devices they will spread and fester, capturing and killing locals, recruiting the gullible into their ranks and corrupting the forests and woodlands. Our allies at Irinel and the halflings of the gentle village of Watersmeet are in danger if we do nothing.

We are going to assemble a small task force, scope out their outpost, and run those necromancers out of there.



Be warned, a direct assault is likely to end very badly. Before we set out for the mission we will gather all our intelligence and formulate a plan. As long as we play it smart, we can win.
