Gerard dropped by HQ earlier. He is delighted to have his row boat back and in such excellent repair too.

He apologised for getting so flustered about it before. He says the Guild have earned ourselves a "favour". We can call it in anytime.

A favour, given what we went through and the difficulty getting his broken boat back, I feel like favour is a paltry word for what we deserve.
As much as I am a person of the finer fun things like Mr chips, I definitely feel this "favour" is worth something better!

To be fair to Gerard... it was the Adventurer's Guild who lost the boat in the first place.

A boat is the key to adventure, the open seas and this was a handcrafted wooden boat, this is not a thing to treat so badly. If one of the crew of Silver Wind had done this, they would be punished.
guarding your ship and treating it well is important if you expect it to treat you well on the open seas.
